Latest News

We are happy to announce that Taming the Blaze team members were able to rescue a group of abandoned Spotted Dotty Terrors from what seems to have been a poaching situation. The mother of the hatchlings was unfortunately found deceased shortly after rescuers arrived on scene. The hatchlings are very healthy and should be released into a wyvern rehabilitation and nature preserve in the coming months. The team leader is also considering adopting the runt to use as an ambassador animal for future programs. The poachers from this incident are still at large. If you have an information that could lead to an arrest, please contact 1-800-ADRAGON. The Spotted Dotty Terrors are an endangered species that are hunted for their mottled skin and flexible, hollow fangs.

Volunteer and Job Information

We are currently not accepting new members at this time and volunteer work is on a case-by-case basis. Working with dragons requires a lot of prior training and licensing with the Dragon Human Alliance Board (DHAB). We are currently working on an email newsletter due to popular demand and will be implementing it in the near future. Any job openings will be on it along with the latest news about rehabilitation projects, recent bonded pair shoutouts, and other organization information.
